goddamnvideomerger

You just need a goddamn video merger.
Here it is.

Drop your clips. Hit merge. Get one video.
No timeline. No filters. No account.
No subscription. It just works.

Free. No sign-up required.
Requires macOS 12+ and ffmpeg.

Demo video goes here

Three steps. That's it.

DROP

Drag your video files into the window. Folders work too.

MERGE

Click merge. That's the hard part.

DONE

Your merged video is ready. One file. Original quality.

What it does (and what it doesn't)

Combines videos without losing quality

No re-encoding. Original resolution, bitrate, and audio — untouched.

Fast. Like, really fast.

Other tools re-encode for minutes. This takes seconds.

Keeps your metadata

Date, GPS location, camera info — all preserved from the first clip.

Drag & drop everything

Files, folders, whatever. It sorts them automatically.

Batch merge

Multiple folders? Merges each one into its own file. One click.

Real-time progress

See exactly what's happening: percentage, speed, ETA, output size.

Does NOT edit videos
Does NOT add transitions
Does NOT trim, crop, or filter
Does NOT require an account
Does NOT phone home

This is not a video editor.
It's a goddamn video merger.

Works with everything you throw at it.

Dark theme, files loaded, timeline visible

macOS app. Native feel. Dark theme.
No Electron jank. (Okay, it's Electron. But it doesn't feel like it.)

Convinced? Good.

Version 1.0.0 · ~180 MB · macOS 12+
Requires ffmpeg (brew install ffmpeg)

Free forever. Open source. No catch.

Questions nobody actually asked

(but we'll answer anyway)

Is it really free?
Yes. No trial, no watermark, no catch. We might add a Pro tier later for power features, but merging will always be free.
Why is it so fast?
We don't re-encode your videos. The streams are copied directly, so it takes seconds instead of minutes.
Do I need ffmpeg?
Yes. Install it with: brew install ffmpeg. The app auto-detects it.
Windows / Linux?
macOS only for now. If enough people ask, we'll build it. Star the GitHub repo and let us know.
Does it re-encode my videos?
No. Video streams are copied as-is. Audio is normalized to AAC 256kbps only if needed for compatibility.
Why is it called "goddamnvideomerger"?
Because that's what you said before you found it.
